TidalHealth highlights employee for good deed

SALISBURY, Md. – TidalHealth Peninsula Regional is highlighting one of their own employees for how creative she got to keep a patient comfortable.

On Wednesday, TidalHealth’s CNA Diane Cornish was awarded the Sunshine Award for Exceptional CNAs, PCAs, and PCTs. We’re told there was a confused patient on the floor who was looking for a movie theater, so Diane convinced the patient to return to her room, then went to the nurses station and told the patient she was calling from the movie theater and told them the movie would be playing in the patient’s room.

TidalHealth says Diane always treats her patients with kindness, but in this instance, she was even more thoughtful.
