SALISBURY, Md. – Nicer weather drew more people outside for the final day of Memorial Day weekend here on the Eastern Shore. While many headed to Ocean City or Rehoboth to soak in the sun, people also flocked to the Salisbury City Park.

Residents say they were returning to their pre-COVID Memorial Day traditions. One Resident told 47ABC “We got some crabs some Maryland crabs, and enjoying the local area, we love the zoo but it was a bit too crowded so we are just gonna be out here on the trails today.”

Pamela of Salisbury told 47ABC that she’s excited to get some gardening done on her day off, taking advantage of all the rain poured into the soil over the last two days.
