Registration for SBY Marathon ends this weekend, limited spots available

SALISBURY, Md. – Next weekend many runners are going to be hoping for clear skies as the Salisbury Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K is set to take place. Registration ends this weekend. Race Director Jason Chance says they’ve already sold over 400 spots for the half-marathon, and 200 spots for both the Marathon and 5K.

Of course things will look different this year because of the pandemic. “Those guys will go into a start corral that will have cones placed every six feet so the people know where to stand. Six people will launch, and then five seconds later, six people, and then 5 seconds later, the next six people,” said Chance. “Because we have the timing chips on their bibs we’re able to still accurately say ‘You started right now, you started now.’ That way they have accurate time when they finish.”

If you’d still like to sign up, you can do so here. There are limited spots available.
