Sussex Tech returning to remote learning

GEORGETOWN, Del. — On Tuesday, The Sussex County Vocational Technical School District announced they will be moving to remote learning through Friday, February 26th. The school district says this switch to remote learning is out of an abundance of caution after recent positive COVID-19 test results.

We’re told the campus will undergo a thorough cleaning and sanitization over the next couple of days.

Officials say both Sussex Technical High School and Adult Education Division programs will be shifting to remote status, with staff also working remotely the remainder of the week.  Sussex Tech adding that the decision was made in consultation with the Delaware Division of Public Health.

For now, the District is encouraging all families to monitor students for any symptoms of COVID-19.
