Milford wrestling dominates Lake, getting hot with playoffs just around the corner

MILFORD, Del.- Opening up on a 27 point run, the Milford Buccaneers defeated previously undefeated Lake Forest 60-12 to move to 10-2 on the season. The loss drops the Spartans to 6-1.

The Buccaneers came into this one as one of the hottest teams in the state, riding a 7 game win streak. The Spartans, coming into this one as one of two remaining undefeated squads at 6-0.

From the first match, it was all Bucs, rattling off five straight match wins including four pins. They would finish with nine team pins en route to their 60-12 win.

The Bucs finish their season hosting Sussex Tech on Friday at 5 pm. Lake hosts Indian River Friday as they try to get back on track for the playoffs.
