Woodbridge coasts past Seaford for their first win of the Robinson era

GREENWOOD, Del.- Behind a game high 14 points from freshman Reghan Robinson, the Woodbridge Blue Raiders defeated Seaford 59-10 to start the season 1-0. The loss drops the Blue Jays to 0-2.

After winning the Henlopen Championship last season, head coach Emelio Perry stepped down and the Isaiah Robinson era began in Greenwood. In his first game at the helm, Robinson said he was looking to encourage his shooters to shoot when they had the open shot and shoot they did. Five 3’s in the first half including four from freshman Reghan Robinson and another from Sierra Smith led the Blue Raiders to a 38-8 lead at the half.

In the second half, it was much of the same. Outscoring the Blue Jays 22-2 in the second half, Woodbridge held on for their first win of the season and their first under Isaiah Robinson. The Blue Raiders will look to continue their hot start when they host Sussex Academy next Monday, January 19th at 6:30. Seaford returns to the court still looking for win number one of the season when they host Laurel next Monday at 7 pm.
