Clouds will be increasing tonight with light snow showers possible for southern Delmarva. A coating to half an inch of snow is possible for our Virginia counties. Lows will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
Morning clouds will give way to afternoon sunshine on Thursday with gusty winds to 40 mph and cold temperatures. Highs will be in the mid 30s and wind chills in the low 20s.
The breezy conditions and frigid temperatures continue on Friday with highs in the low 30s under mostly sunny skies. Highs remain cold on Saturday in the mid 30s with sunny skies. A new system arrives on Sunday, bringing mostly cloudy skies and a rain/snow mix with highs around 40°.
The system will stick around for Monday, continuing to bring a rain/snow mix, mainly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low to mid 40s. It’s also possible the rain/snow mix can persist into Groundhog Day, under mostly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 30s to 40°.
