Ravens take care of business in home regular season finale
Beat Giants 27-13, could ascend to AFC's top wild-card spot in Week 17
BALTIMORE, Md- The Baltimore Ravens moved to 10-5 on the 2020 season, defeating the New York Giants 27-13 on Sunday afternoon.
In the win, the Ravens rushed for 249 yards– with three players each (Lamar Jackson, Gus Edwards, and JK Dobbins) rushing for at least 75 yards. Jackson finished with 183 yards passing and two scores, adding 80 yards on the ground on 13 carries.
“I thought our guys did a great job. Our offensive line, our tight ends, of course Gus and JK ran the ball exceptionally well,” said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.”Lamar ran the ball well, it was a really a good performance by our run offense.” Sunday was the 38th consecutive game that the Ravens ran for at least 100 yards in a game, that is the second longest streak in the NFL since 1940.
The win slides the purple and black into the AFC’s 2nd wild card spot. Things could get better for Baltimore in Week 17. Because of losses by the Colts and the Browns in Week 16, the Ravens will have a chance to climb into the 5th seed (1st wild-card) with a loss next week by the Miami Dolphins.
