Wicomico Co. announces third year of participating in “Warming Up Wicomico” donation drive

SALISBURY, Md. — With winter right around the corner, Acting Wicomico County Executive, John Psota, announced that for the third year in a row, the county will participate in “Warming Up Wicomico.”

County officials say after realizing there were so many people outside in the cold weather without ample clothing items to keep them warm, they decided to start this clothing drive.  The cold weather clothing donation drive starts now and will go through December.

Donations can be dropped off anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Government Office Building at 125 North Division Street. We’re told Donations will be distributed to cold weather shelters and Wicomico County homeless.
