Caesar Rodney moves to 4-0 for the first time since ’08

CAMDEN, Del.- Behind three first half touchdowns from QB Tremere Woodlin, the Caesar Rodney Riders defeated Polytech     39-0. With the win, the Riders move to 4-0 on the year while the loss drops Poly to 0-3.

It was all Riders from the beginning, forcing a three and out on the first defensive drive. On their first offensive drive, QB Tremere Woodlin took a read option keep 20 to the house to open up the scoring. After another three and out on the next defensive possession, Woodlin took the same read option play for 15 yards and his second TD of the game making it 15-0 to end the first quarter. After forcing the Panthers to punt a third time, CR started an aerial attack. The first two plays of the second quarter were deep shots to senior receiver Deontre Cale, the second a touchdown in double coverage to make it 22-0. The Riders added on a field goal to end the first half. CR held on in the second half to take it 39-0.

The Riders return to the field next Friday when they host Dover. Polytech will look to get their first win of the season when they travel to play Laurel
