Glow Maze coming to Civic Center for Halloween

SALISBURY, Md. – In Salisbury, officials are encouraging residents to celebrate Halloween in a different way this year at the new Glow Maze coming to the Civic Center.

The maze will be complete with tons of lights, lots of glow up decorations, and of course some Halloween music.

Jamie Nichols, the program director, says families were looking for safe and fun ways to celebrate Halloween this year despite the pandemic, and they feel this is the perfect way to do so.

Nichols says people will be screened for covid at the event, but they also designed it to keep people social distanced and safe.

“So there are no touch points, that was a big key with the health department to make sure that it is just a walk through, flowing maze. There will be some obstacles that people can walk around, there will be some stairs that you can go up and down,” Nichols explained.

She says there will also be plenty of hand sanitizer and hand washing areas at the maze. Masks are also required.

If you want to purchase a ticket to the event, you can do so at the box office at the Civic Center Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. or you can get tickets at the door the day of.
