Lincoln man arrested for 6th DUI
LEWES, Del. – Lewes Police say a Delaware man was arrested Monday morning on his 6th DUI and other charges.
We’re told at around 11:30 a.m., officers were conducting a targeted speed enforcement effort near Shields Elementary School on Savannah Road. Officers subsequently stopped a vehicle for speeding, and on contact with the driver, identified as 54-year-old Richard Moore, he was believed to be under the influence of alcohol.
Police say Moore had a .228% reading on a portable breath test and a search warrant for his blood was executed.
Moore was arrested and charged with 6th office DUI, driving with a suspended license, no insurance, fictitious tag, and speeding. He was held at SCI on a $10,000 cash bail.
