Gunfire damages Smyrna home, police investigating

1280 Smyrna Shots Fired

SMYRNA, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a shots fired incident that happened late Thursday night.

We’re told troopers responded to a residence on East Redbrook Place in Smyrna just before 11:30 p.m. for a shots fired complaint. On arrival, it was learned that a 70-year-old man and 33-year-old man were seated in the living room when a loud noise was heard. Further discovery revealed that the first floor of the residence had been hit by multiple bullets.

There were no injuries as a result of the incident. There is no suspect information at this time.
