Woman wanted for stabbing in Accomack County

PAINTER, Va. — Police in Accomack County are looking for the woman who they say stabbed someone, then left them for dead.

Police say just after 10 p.m. Tuesday night, they responded to Pond View Court in Painter for a report of a stabbing. Once deputies arrived on scene, they say they found a 60-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.
She was taken to a local hospital, and then flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition.

The suspect in this stabbing has been identified as 28-year-old Megan Harrison. Police say a warrant has been issued for her arrest and she’s wanted on first degree attempted murder charges.
