Wicomico County man found guilty of sexual abuse, rape of minor

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – A Wicomico County man was sentenced to 75 years behind bars after being convicted of sexual abuse of a child and rape. The Circuit Court for Wicomico County found Kelite Ferreras guilty of sexually abusing and raping a child under the age of 12 back in February. 47ABC is told the crimes happened back in 2016.

er committing the crimes – Ferraras fled the United States for Haiti. That was where he was arrested in 2019 and brought back to Wicomico County to face justice. On top of serving 75 years in prison – Ferreras is required to register as a sex offender for life, and will be under lifetime supervision by parole and probation.
