SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury has announced that normal parking enforcement in the Downtown area will resume on Monday, August 3rd.

On March 28th, Mayor Jake Day announced that all non-permit municipal parking would be free of charge to encourage citizens to support local businesses and restaurants during the pandemic. Any non-permit parking tickets mistakenly issued between March 28th and August 3rd will be voided, and no action is necessary by the recipient of the ticket.

Starting August 3rd, vehicles parked illegally in both pay and permit parking spaces will be cited accordingly. Parking enforcement officers will be out the week prior, leaving friendly reminders on illegally parked vehicles.

Parking is free for up to two hours in Lot 1, located on the corner of South Division Street and Circle Avenue.
