Gov. Hogan reportedly eyeing 2024 White House bid

MARYLAND – The New York Times is reporting that Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) has an interest in seeking the presidency in 2024.

According to an article released Tuesday, Hogan told the Times that his experience as chair of the National Governors Association during this pandemic has reinforced his interest in making a run for the White House.

Also on Tuesday, Governor Hogan announced a virtual tour for his new book “Still Standing: Surviving Cancer, Riots, a Global Pandemic and the Toxic Politics that Divide America.” According to a website for the book, the tour will kick off on July 29th  and will feature prominent names like Gov. Chris Christie, Gov. Jeb Bush, and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The spokesperson for his book says,  “Governor Hogan remains fully focused on his job as governor of Maryland. Its way too early to be discussing 2024.”
