DSP on scene of serious crash in Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police say they are currently on scene of a serious crash that happened earlier this afternoon in Georgetown.

We’re told the accident occurred just after 1 p.m., on Old Furnace Road in the area of Asbury Road. As a result, the roadway is closed at this time. Motorists should expect delays and are urged to seek alternate routes of travel.
