Woman arrested in alleged robbery of 65-year-old man

LEWES, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested a woman they say robbed a 65-year-old man in a grocery store parking lot.

26-year-old Erika Morris was arrested on Tuesday after police say they received an anonymous tip about her whereabouts.

Police say she had four active warrants out for her arrest, including one for the alleged grocery store robbery. In that incident, police say Morris followed a 65-year-old man to his car in a Weis parking lot, stole his wallet out of his hand, and then fled on foot.

Morris now faces charges that include robbery of the second degree, conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
