Special needs baseball league looking to expand to Delmarva

Alternative Baseball Organization provides support through sport

SALISBURY, Md- Taylor Duncan was diagnosed with autism at four years old. 20 years after his diagnosis, he’s doing his part to help special athletes like himself.

In 2016, Duncan created the Alternative Baseball Organization. The ABO is an authentic baseball league dedicated to special needs teens and adults 15 years of age or older. Recently the league decided to begin searching for players, volunteers, and coaches in the Delmarva area. Duncan cited the hassle of people on the Eastern Shore having to travel to D.C. or Baltimore to play in a league that supports their individual needs.
