OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police Chief Ross Buzzuro released a video on Monday, addressing the recent incidents of violence in the town.

Buzzuro praises Ocean City Police officers for meeting recent challenges with professionalism, respect, and a commitment to “do right by the citizens they are sworn to protect.” He added that in the coming weeks, there will be more officers on patrol on the boardwalk and throughout the town, to strictly yet professionally enforce the law.

“The kind of behavior we have seen recently will not be tolerated, and arrests will be made,” Buzzuro said.

He also asks residents and visitors to take a step back, be kind to one another, and “help keep Ocean City a community for all.”
