UPDATE: Del. State Police memorial vandalized; cash reward offered

6/18 UPDATE: Delaware State Police say they are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual(s) responsible for vandalizing the Delaware State Police Law Enforcement Memorial earlier this week.

Officials say they are offering a $3,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the act.

DOVER, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating after the Delaware State Police Law Enforcement Memorial was vandalized.

We’re told that sometime during the overnight hours of Monday into Tuesday, someone spray painted the words “Black Lives Matter” onto the memorial, which is located on the Delaware State Police Headquarters complex.

Police say they are committed to finding the person(s) responsible for this vandalism.
