Teen arrested in connection to robbery of Dominos delivery driver

MILLSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police say one has been charged in connection to the robbery of a Dominos Pizza delivery driver, while another still remains at large.

The incident happened just after 10 p.m. on March 14th, in the 35000 block of Bay Breeze Lane in Rehoboth Beach Shores. The 56-year-old female delivery driver reported that while she was delivering an order at this location, two suspects approached her from behind and grabbed her while taking her cell phone, an unknown amount of cash, and her vehicle. The victim’s vehicle was later recovered in the pool’s parking lot area of Rehoboth Shores. The victim was not injured.

Further investigation led police to identify a 15-year-old Millsboro teen as a suspect. We’re told the teen, who reportedly turned himself in on Tuesday, was charged with first degree robbery, second degree conspiracy, and third degree assault. He was later released on his own recognizance pending arraignment in Family Court.
