Shore Craft Beer is helping local breweries gain attention with Weekly Happy Hours on Facebook

MARYLAND–Eastern Shore breweries are keeping busy with new ways to interact with the community during COVID-19 by doing online happy hours.

Shore Craft Beer is a company that works to spread awareness about the different breweries on the Eastern Shore.

The CEO of Shore Craft Beer,  Ann McGinnis Hillyer,  said since people can’t go to breweries they came up with weekly happy hours that will be LIVE on Facebook every Tuesday at 5 PM.

The brewers that participate will educate people on the different beers and give them brewery tours.

“My theory is that people are going to buy more of that craft beer if they can get it wherever they live in, that’s an economic boom to the breweries here on the shore,” Ann McGinnis Hillyer, CEO of Shore Craft Beer, said.

We are told the happy hours started this Tuesday with Tall Tales.

Burley Oak will take over next Tuesday.
