Weather Tidbits: Cirrocumulus

Another high cloud takes the center stage in Weather Tidbits as the cirrocumulus cloud. They appear as small white patches & ripples, that are formed of ice crystals. This type of cloud is considered the most attractive because of the reflection of red & yellow light from the setting sun. This common variations of cirrocumulus are the mackerel sky & undulatus.
