UPDATE: teen charged in connection with March high school threat

DAGSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police say they have charged a Millville teen in connection with a school threat aimed at Indian River High School in early March.

Police were made aware of the threat on March 9th, learning that a student had made written threats aimed at the school. Further investigation revealed that a 14-year-old Indian River High School student had made written threats in a journal, specifically targeting the high school.

The 14-year-old female reportedly turned herself in on Thursday and was charged with attempted to commit assault first degree conduct created risk of death caused serious injury (felony), and terroristic threatening. She was released on $21,000 unsecured bond.
