DSP investigating threat to Indian River High School
DAGSBORO, Del. – Delaware State Police say they are investigating a school threat that was aimed at Indian River High School earlier this week.
On Monday, March 9th, troopers learned that a student had made written threats aimed at the high school. Further investigation revealed that a 14-year-old Indian River High School student had made the threats in a journal, specifically targeting the high school.
We’re told the student had not been in attendance at the school since mid-January of this year.
Police say the case remains under investigation. They are working with the Indian River School District Administration and say there is no concern for public safety or threat to the high school at this time. Charges are pending.
