Police: Man grabbed employee, displayed weapon at Rehoboth Beach bar


REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. – Rehoboth Beach Police say one man is facing charges after he pointed what is believed to be a gun at employees and customers at a bar on Saturday night.

Police say around 11:30 on Saturday  night, they responded to the Conch Island Key West Bar & Grill after witnesses say 28-year-old Bryan Meck grabbed an employee and displayed a handgun.

When police arrived, they say they saw Meck walking away and throwing a gun into a nearby tree.

Meck was arrested and police recovered the gun, which turned out to be a BB gun.

Meck is now facing three felony charges.
