Thunder undone by Hat Tricks

HARRINGTON, Del. – The Delaware Thunder couldn’t hold on to a first period lead after a Danbury run. The Hats Tricks got two goals in each period to take a 6-4 victory and game one of the series.

Delaware got on the board first behind a goal from Evan Mackintosh, but the Hat Tricks answered back with two goals of their own in the first period. The Thunder ended the period leading 3-2 but fell down the stretch.

Thomas Munichiello led the way for the Thunder with a pair of goals.
