Cambridge Chick-Fil-A to bring more jobs to the area

CAMBRIDGE, Md. — It’s been a long time coming, but Cambridge is finally getting the chance to ‘Eat Mor Chikin’ and it’s all thanks to the new Chick-Fil-A that’s opening up right off of Route 50 at 705 Cambridge Marketplace.

The brand new Chick-Fil-A facility, owned by Christian Albert, will be opening February 13th.

Albert joined 47 ABC’s Erica Murphy on the desk Wednesday morning to talk about what to expect at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

He says they’re rolling out the big red carpet and activities are kicking off at 5 p.m., Wednesday evening.

Of course with the opening of a new Chick-Fil-A, you can’t forget about the The First 100 Red Carpet Rollout. It is From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m and by the end of the event, 100 lucky locals will walk away with a year’s worth of Chick-Fil-A.

Albert also says, with the opening of this Chick-Fil-A facility, over 100 new jobs were created in the community. He says, it excites he and his team that so many people want to be apart of the brand.

Activities kickoff Wednesday night, and the grand opening is Thursday at 6 a.m., just in time for breakfast.
