Worcester Goes Purple has a new logo for this new year

January 2, 2020
Anissa Lopez,

BERLIN, Md.- Worcester Goes Purple is making some changes for this year.

First, they’re changing up their branding. A puzzle piece will now be their new logo.

They chose a puzzle piece because they said it reflects that everybody plays an important part in recovery and prevention.

This year Worcester Goes Purple also wants the community to keep talking about the opioid epidemic, so to do that, they plan on expanding their outreach.

“Some projects this year that we will be doing to expand our outreach to include family and friends and loved ones who are suffering also with those with addiction,” Debbie Smullen, Worcester Goes Purple Events Coordinator, said.

This year Worcester Goes Purple will have people sign puzzle pieces at various events, like their first ever floating lantern event that will be held in August.
