Lumpkin-Beale notches 21 points; Delmar rolls over FSMA

DELMAR, Del. – Jeremiah Lumpkin-Beale big game helped propel Delmar to a 61-28 victory over First State Military Academy.

The Wildcats wasted no time getting the offense going in the first quarter and got Lumpkin Beale involved in the paint. Offense continued to feed from inside 15 feet for Delmar as they rolled out to a quick 10-point lead. FSMA kept things close early relying heavily on the long ball.

Delmar’s defense looked solid in the second half, holding the Bulldogs to just eight points and forcing multiple turnovers.

The bench came in and provided solid minutes as well.
