Dover man wanted on multiple drug charges

DOVER, Del. – Police are searching for a man who is currently wanted after a search resulted in the recovery of more than 1,000 bags of heroin.

On Thursday, Dover Police and Delaware Probation and Parole conducted a home visit at an apartment in the 100 block of Haman Drive. During the search, officers found approximately 1,300 bags of heroin, .7 grams of marijuana, and $2,500 in drug money belonging to 45-year-old Michael Benson, who was not home at the time. 47-year-old Donita Miller, who was present at the time, was issued a civil violation for possession of marijuana.

Benson is wanted for possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, endangering the welfare of a child, drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation.
