Santa’s Annual Workshop Event putting kids in the holiday spirit

SALISBURY, Md.- Christmas is just around the corner and Thursday kids came out to meet Santa and tell him what they wanted this holiday.

The Santa’s Annual Workshop Event was held at the Truitt Community Center.

Kids up to age 13 were able to get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy activities such as watching a movie, doing crafts, and picking out gifts.

There were also free refreshments and snacks offered.

Officials told 47ABC that this is a way for them to give back and help families put smiles on their kids faces during the holidays.

This is the 12th Annual Santa’s Workshop and they hope to continue the tradition.

There were many businesses and organizations that assisted with the event tonight, like Bless our children, Toys for Tots, Wicomico Library, and Salisbury University.
