Kent County stumbles vs. William Penn
SALISBURY, Md. – The Kent County Trojans couldn’t find the offensive flow and fell to the William Penn Colonials 65-30.
JayShawn Freeman return for the Trojans and got involved in the offense early, but was harassed most of the game by the Colonials defense. William Penn held KC to just 5 points in the first quarter, with just two made field goals.
Isaac Brady had a big game for William Penn and help lead them in scoring. Brandon Ashe and Anthony Mallory controlled the glass and put Kent County in foul trouble for most of the second half.
Kent County will close out their Governor’s Challenge appearance in the consolation bracket on Monday.
