Harrington Police arrest wanted woman on multiple drug charges

HARRINGTON, Del. – A Harrington woman was arrested last week on multiple charges after she was reportedly found hiding from police in a trash bin.

On November 24th, officers on patrol were called to a residence in the 170000 block of South DuPont Highway for a reported domestic dispute in progress. On arrival, it was determined that 29-year-old Donnisa Daniels had contacted the victim at a nearby residence and assaulted the victim. Daniels then allegedly fled back to her residence, but police could not find her.

A short time later, a witness contacted police after seeing a suspect fitting Daniels’ description running in the area of Porter Street. Daniels was found hiding in a trash bin and was subsequently taken into custody. Drug paraphernalia was found in Daniels’ clothing as well as in her purse, and it was learned that she had nine active capiases out of Kent and Sussex Counties.

Daniels was charged with offensive touching and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at SCI on $50,900 cash only bail and $3,500 secured bail.
