Dover man injured in early morning shooting
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating after a Dover man was shot in his apartment early Friday morning.
At this time, officials believe that two unknown male suspects forced open a door to a third floor apartment in the 100 block of Haman Drive (The Willows at Clearfield Apartments) shortly before 3 a.m. A 19-year-old male was reportedly shot twice in the upper body and was taken to Kent General Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. He has since been released.
Police say they believe this incident is related to a shots fired incident that happened at the same location earlier this week.
