Shots fired at Dover apartment building, investigation underway

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired in the third floor common area of a local apartment building late Tuesday night.

According to police, the incident happened just before 11:30 p.m., at The Willows at Clearfield Apartments in the 100 block of Haman Drive. It was reported that a resident found a bullet and shell casing outside of their apartment door. When officers arrived, they found two shell casings and a bullet hole in a wall.

No injuries were reported at the time of the incident.
