Brave the icy cold waters in the 2020 Penguin Swim

OCEAN CITY, Md. — The time has come again for locals to brave the icy- cold waters of the Atlantic Ocean for a good cause. The 26th Annual Atlantic General Hospital’s 2020 Penguin Swim is returning to Ocean City.

47 ABC’s Erica Murphy sat with co-chair, Michael Sylc, who tells us this fun and thrilling event is being held at the Princess Royale Hotel in Ocean City.

The Penguin Swim supports the non-profit community hospital and people can fund raise with a team or individually.

The event will take place on Wednesday, January 1st, 2020.

The registration fee is $25.00 per swimmer. Registration starts at 10 AM and ends at 12:30 PM on New Year’s Day. Preregistration and advanced check-in is Tuesday, December 31st, from 2 PM to 4 PM.  You can register either online or in-person and just by signing up, you can receive a 2019 Penguin Swim t-shirt.
