Rommel Harley-Davidson collecting food donations, offering discounts

SALISBURY, Md. – If you’re in the giving spirit and want to help those in need, you can head on over to Rommel Harley Davidson in Salisbury.

The dealership is hosting their first food drive and collecting goods to donate to HALO before Thanksgiving.

Anybody can bring any non-perishable item in exchange for 1% off your purchase at the dealership, up to 15% off licensed merchandise.

Officials with the dealership tell 47 ABC they know the hardships shelters and centers face during this time of year and the food shortage that comes before Thanksgiving, so this is their way of giving back to the community.

“We have been given so much, the community has welcomed us tremendously, we’re doing really well since we’ve been here, and so the community has accepted us so much that we wanted to give back to the community to thank them for this,” Kristina Ruhl, dealership coordinator, said.

If you want to donate food, you can visit Rommel Harley Davidson which is located on Route 13.
