Dover man arrested on multiple drug charges

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police arrested a man on multiple charges following an administrative search late Wednesday night.

Shortly before midnight, Delaware Probation and Parole and Dover Police conducted an administrative search of a residence in the 100 block of Roosevelt Avenue in Dover. The target of the search, 19-year-old Darius Jean-Baptiste, was located inside at the time of the search.

The search resulted in the recovery of the following items:

  • 96 bags of heroin (.672 gram)
  • 2.2 grams of “synthetic marijuana”
  • 1.6 grams of marijuana
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • $330 in drug money

Jean-Baptiste was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of counterfeit controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held at SCI.
