Rep. Andy Harris holds town hall on eastern shore

BERLIN, Md. – Maryland Representative Andy Harris made his way to Berlin Monday night to hold his third and final town hall on the eastern shore. Officials say the public meeting was a way for Congressman Harris to understand and learn about issues that are affecting residents in the area. Discussions included concerns regarding seismic testing, red flag laws, and health care. Congressman Harris says that the town halls are just another way to connect with the community and find out what needs to be addressed on Capitol Hill.

“That’s the role of a member of Congress is you come out and you listen to people we’ve had the district work week, that’s what this is. It always gives us an idea of what people are talking about in the district, what is important to them, what work we should be doing in Washington and what maybe we shouldn’t be doing,” said Harris.

Harris also held town halls in both Greensboro and Easton Sunday.
