Police investigating armed robbery at Dover gas station

DOVER, Del. – Dover Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at an area gas station Tuesday night.

The incident reportedly happened shortly after 9 p.m., at the Valero Gas Station at 530 N. DuPont Highway. The suspect walked into the business, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect then fled towards the area of Chatham Cove on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

Police say the suspect was a male, wearing all black with a cloth wrapped around his face.
