Del. Health officials provide update on vaping illness investigation
DOVER, Del. – In Delaware, the state is providing an update to the vaping investigation they’ve been taking part in for the past couple of weeks. State leaders say two out of the three lung illness cases that they were looking into meet the CDC’s definition of probable. And since September 9th, four additional cases have also been identified as most likely to be related to vaping, which makes six cases in total. Five of those people live in New Castle county, and one of them lives in Kent County. Health leaders say that the people in those cases range from ages between 15 and 45. Some of them reported using e-cigarette products containing THC and nicotine. The investigation is still ongoing.
