Cambridge bounces back with dominant win over Silver Oak

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The Cambridge South Dorchester Vikings put on a clinic on all three facets of the game in their 47-12 victory over Silver Oak Academy.

Cambridge got the scoring going on their first drive after Khalik Beasley ran a jet sweep in from eight yards out for the touchdown. On the ensuing Ram possession, the punter fumbled the snap and the Vikings pounced. Jeremy Taylor came up with the loose ball and put CSD up 13-0.

The Vikings defense came up big as well with a pair of interceptions from Kanye Pinder and Dario Belizaire set up the Vikings in scoring drives as well. Khalik Beasley ripped off a 70-yard run down to the 2 yard line. Beasley would run the next play in from the Wildcat for the score.

With 56 seconds left on the clock in the first the Vikings marched down the field and capped off the drive with a Belizaire touchdown run. Cambridge kept the pedal down and closed out to the 47-12 final.
