Ocean City visitors reveal favorite 4th of July traditions

OCEAN CITY, Md. – While it was  pretty hot and humid out there this Independence Day, the heat didn’t stop most people from enjoying the Fourth of July traditions they love the most. On Thursday,  many families and friends spent the day in Ocean City relaxing at the beach, walking the boardwalk, and watching parades. And 47 ABC was there to hit the streets and ask you, the viewer, what your favorite Fourth of July traditions are.

“We like to go out as a family and to go see fireworks and usually we stay local,” said Kelley Mills.

“We usually like to come to the beach and watch the fireworks and just hang out and spend time as a family. We’re actually here for a baseball tournament this weekend too,” said Monica Copenhaver.

“We normally don’t come to the beach on the Fourth of July but we decided to come this year. We usually come off peak but we decided to come during the peak season just to bring my kids down and have a good time,” said Thomas Harrison.

And of course we’d love to hear what your favorite fourth of july traditions are so why don’t you tell us on 47 ABC’s Facebook or Twitter.
