Downtown shop bringing small businesses together
SEAFORD, Del. – One downtown shop is making a difference for local small businesses. High Street Custom Frame has dedicated one of their store front windows to display pictures of shops and people of Seaford.
Alana Carver, who started this, wanted there to be more of an emphasis on the small business community in Seaford.
Apparently, it’s worked, and this has become a great way for local small businesses to connect through the photos and the connections that are made through this shop.
“A lot of them nobody knows about. Advertising in this area is so expensive. And small businesses can’t afford that. So, we actually offer the free advertising and able to get their information and get them out there,” said store owner Annette Greene.
This store window display is updated the first Tuesday of every month. High Street Custom Frame is calling on the community to submit photos of Seaford people, places, things and events.
