HARRINGTON, Del. – A Delaware man was arrested on Friday after an investigation into a sexual abuse complaint.

Last month, Harrington Police received a complaint from the Division of Family Services regarding possible sexual abuse that reportedly happened at the Telemon Head Start in Harrington. Detectives then launched an investigation, assisted by the Child Advocacy Center and the Department of Justice.

It was learned through investigation that on separate occasions throughout the month of May, two toddlers, aged 4 and 5, were sexually assaulted by 27-year-old Timothy McCrary, who was working at the Head Start as an aid.

McCrary was taken into custody as his home on Thistlewood Road in Houston on Friday, and was charged with three counts of first degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust, and one count of unlawful sexual contact where the victim is less than 13 years old.
