Brandywine Counseling opens drop-in center in Milford

MILFORD, Del. – A new center is helping people get back on their feet if they’re struggling.

Brandywine Counseling now offers a drop-in center – a place where anybody can stop in for help in a number of areas. The center offers hot showers, laundry services, assistance in job searching, and more.

While the center does cater to the homeless, anyone is welcome. They say their goal is to create a safe space where anybody can come, express their needs, and have those needs met.

“We really strive back here to create a very safe loving warm nonjudgmental atmosphere so we take folks as they come we meet them where they are,” Shezaray Wyche, Peer Supervisor, said.

The center is open daily from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Staff there also say that anyone interested in donating any goods can drop them off during business hours.
