PFLAG hosts first ever Midshore Pride event

EASTON, Md. – The first ever Midshore pride weekend is happening this weekend in Dorchester, Talbot, and Kent counties.

Midshore’s chapter of PFLAG is hosting the inaugural event that officials say is highlighting the Eastern Shore’s progress in welcoming and accepting the LGBTQ community.

“It’s a very nice thing to have happen and it’s a monumental event because it actually is the very first organized pride event. While it’s not a parade it’s still a lot of different events are going on a lot of different things that the community has decided that they wanted to see,” explains¬†Mark Delancey, PFLAG President.
